A very useful mobile application for iPhone was released by the FBI. It’s known as Child ID and will help parents with their most feared problem as a missing child. The new application allows people to store child’s photos or any identifying information, on their handsets. This way it becomes easier for the authorities to keep up with the necessary data, in case a child disappears.

Another useful tool included in FBI Child ID app is a possible 911 call or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which can be reached with the tap of a button.

The official statistics given by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, give alerts to the car gadgets developers that it is time to pay attention to tiredness of drivers and to provide a new solution to control the drivers’ state. Falling asleep while driving caused around 20% of car crashes, the amount of accidents brings 100,000 deaths or serious injuries.

The car producers already tried to prevent the crashes by installing systems that detect deviation of the wheel. Mercedes-Benz Company is one of those. But unfortunately only luxury cars have privilege to protect their owner by these in car gadgets. The first trial to bring it to masses finally was created – a new application for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 (with iOS 4.1 or later), called Anti Sleep Pilot (ASP), is developed for the drivers to keep awake and to control the levels of fatigue.
