Recently they have developed an automatic Stery-Hand machine that provides verification of sufficient hand washing. The device is inevitable for clinicians who have to wash their hands every time before surgery or even before general surveying.

New Toshiba Biblio Leaf reader on solar energy

It is known that the reading room, based on the technology of electronic paper, demands not so much energy. Consequently, in contrast to the relatively more energy-smart phones and portable players, they may operate from solar panel, at least, nothing prevents the latter used as an alternative source of supply, along with the traditional battery.

Recently, Toshiba introduced a new public-reader Biblio Leaf, for work that will use environmentally friendly solar energy. According to the manufacturer, the novelty will be the first reader of its kind, equipped with a solar panel.

Nanotechnology have created a Smallest Christmas Card in the world

Nanotechnology have created a Christmas card to 500 thousand times smaller than usual.

Scientists from the University of Glasgow produced the smallest Christmas card in the world. As reported by BBC News, greeting card was made using nanotechnology. The size of postcards 200 to 290 microns. I recall that micron – is 0.0001 mm.

On a postcard that could fit on a standard postage stamp 8000 276 times and more than 500 thousand times on a sheet of A5 paper, depicts a Christmas tree with colored balls, and the greeting inscription .
