L5 Remote is very simple in usage. You need to connect device to port and install the free application. Though the application is not available for a while, but it has been already known that you can “teach” your iPhone familiarizing it with the all remote-control stations in your house. In so doing soft makes it possible to change the disposition of buttons on the run, change the whole remote-control station, and etc. The main drawback of L5 Remote may be necessity to keep iPhone head over heels and with turned on display. Happily, infrared transmitter doesn’t need much energy.
The announced price is $50 that some critics consider very high for this simple infrared transmitter.

Is there any list of supported devices?
Sorry, but the list wasn’t announced. So but the developers said that this one remote would be compatible with 1000(!) of different devices. Most probably that your LCD, Home Theatre and TV will be comatible with this remote, or let’s wait while device appears at the markets or L5 Technology gives more information about gadget
